Free & Reduced Lunch Program
Eligibility requirements and the application form for Ravenswood School's free and reduced-price breakfast and lunches.

Health & Exam Requirements for Students
Every family needs to be aware of the health and exam requirements for new students as well as returning students moving from one grade level to the next, as they can differ from year to year.  These include physicals, immunizations, lead testing, vision and eye exams.

School/Student Fees
For the 2010-2011 school year, Ravenswood Elementary will collect a student fee in order to help off-set the many of the additional costs associated with supporting our students' academics.

Dress Code Policy
Parents, please make sure you as well as your child/children understand the new dress standards and policies.

Cell Phone Policy
Parents, please make sure you as well as your children understand the new policy in effect regarding cell phone usage.

Mileage Reimbursement
Click here for important, detailed information regarding your eligibility for Mileage Reimbursement.  If you are eligible, Transportation Reimbursement Forms are available in the school office.  The deadline for each school year is June 30th.  Please call the office if you have any questions.

School Closing Information
Emergency Closing Center (ECC) quickly provides the open/closed status of Chicagoland area schools, businesses, daycare centers & organizations.

FirstClass
Communicate with Ravenswood School teachers and help your child access homework, classroom resources & study materials.  5th graders and above can use CPS's new FirstClass intranet system.  It is currently a work in progress as everyone across the school learns the new system.  Ask your teacher for your child's CPS email address and password.

The GradeNetwork
The GradeNetwork creates and maintains a connection between 7th and 8th grade students and their teachers and parents, via a web-based management tool.  A point system is created and when your child is issued a user ID and password, they are able to access their grades and monitor their progress 24/7.  Your children are also encouraged to complete extra credit work, not only to help raise their grades but to satisfy their own intellectual inquiry.
