Most of the questions you have can hopefully be answered throughout this site
but to help make it a little easier, we've added a  quick FAQ overview for questions we most commonly hear on our tours:

Q: What type of reading and literacy programs do you offer?
Ravenswood School supports an academic program centered on Best Practice Principals which takes the needs of individual students at various levels into consideration.  This type of programming, including Balanced Literacy and Differentiated Learning, helps our students feel challenged and rewarded across the board from Special Education to the general education population to our gifted students.  Please see our Academics Overview page for more detailed information on this and more about our reading, literacy, math and science programs.

Q:  Do you have a gifted program?  We don't have a gifted program persay, but due to the academic standards that we set as stated above, our gifted students are equally academically enriched.

Q.  How many of the teachers at Ravenswood have Advanced Degrees and are any Board Certified?  Over 95% of our highly qualified and dedicated teachers have Advanced Degrees.  Our teachers are also highly regarded in their individual fields as we have Golden Apple Award winners and finalists, an Art Educator of the Year, a Teacher of the Year, and four Nationally Board Certified teachers.  Discover the importance of National Board Certification.
